She is Known for her ability to make complex techniques easy and understandable with her instruction appearing in books, pattern packets, videos, and countless magazine articles. Maureen has said about devising her strokework technique "Brushstrokes create specific shapes with one stroke of the brush, using pressure and release, to form the shapes. By double loading the brush, one can create highlight or shading simultaneously within the stroke. These shapes are then combined, much like pieces in a puzzle, to create beautiful designs".

Four Panel Asian Box
